Permission to show the footage was provided by the director. J.P Cummings - Maseo Queen 1998- Frame by retouching in photoshop of 5324 frames. The procedure was as follows: The footage was supplied on half inch tape from the DigiBeta master from the nonlinear editing bay.
I took the half inch tape and captured it at D1 (720 pix x 480 pix) Uncompressed video on a raid array and an asus 7700 capture card. The Uncompressed was one of may grabs from the footage taken. The Uncompressed footage was edited to 100MB files the 100 meg files were split to 100meg filmstrip files in premeiere. Then each filmstrip was edited in photoshop with a few scripts to repeat the settings. Each frame was deinterlaced, color corrected, rubberstamped and equalized with filters applied where required.
